I was able to take 3 "bags" of tools & parts and now pull as one. Relatively large wheels and sturdy handle are welcome. center box locks to handle giving even more support. Generally well designed and built for the price and makes a good impression. I have used a baggage strap to put yet another bag on top without difficulty. It assembles in a few moments and is sturdy. I would definitely buy it again. It is the best current combination of size, utility and cost I know and can easily fit into any trunk. exceptions.... It is NOT designed to go up steps. If you need a toolbox that MUST be pulled up even a few steps this is not it. The first time I did, I dented the body at the bottom where on the handle side just above the plastic bottom. I found if I have more than just a few steps I disassemble and cary it up. If I pull up a couple steps, I do it VERY CAREFULLY. When stopping and standing it upright, the bottom hits the ground before expected! Therefore even though there are large wheels, it still has less clearance than expected and it is unusual that the bottom is squared off so you have this abrupt on/off the wheels. This does not seem to be a problem as much as it is a surprise. The metal latches are stiff (new), but work well.

This rolling case is a great solution to our problem of tools all over the apt.We live in a highrise and with no grage this is a great case. The construction is metal and plastic and I have it loaded up with about 80 lbs of tools. It seems to do the job and rolls well with it loaded down. I feel the handle may fail some day because of its plastic nature. It feels as rugged as a travel luggage handle. I give it a 8/10 and it has enough space for even my largest wrenches.

This is a GREAT tool box at a GREAT price. I work on the road as an IT professional, I wanted something that I could use as a general purpose "everything I typically need" tool kit, and here it is.PROs:- The unit breaks into 3 seperate units, this means I can break it down and place it in the back seat of my car without laying it sideways. I have expensive tools, and I don't want to just have them tossed around inside of the unit. Note, the bottom piece is a little larger as the handle is attached to it and it may need to lay on it's back if space is limited.- Everything is accessable without breaking the unit down- The wheels and handle seem sturdy enough... Time will tell.- It feels stable with the drawers open, does not feel like it will tip over.- The latches that hold everything to together are metal, and they feel very firm when the unit is put together.- It is a good size for my needs.- Overall, it feels like it is well built for my needs.CONs:- Using this on stairs is NOT easy. In my case, if I am going up / down stairs I actually break it down, carry it, and then put it back together... Luckly, the actual break down and reassembly is very quick. It's just the hassle of multiple trips.- There is no built in latch for the lower two cabinets, the top one has two metal latches. There is holes that can be used to put a lock or poll of some sort through each of the 3 drawers, but nothing built into the unit will keep the lower two shut. That being said, they do tend to stay shut.Overall, it's the best thing that I've found for my needs at this time.

after using many different tool boxes and being disappointed by all this tool box is the one to have. sturdy, well thought out modular design we will see how it holds up in the long run but looks promising!
