First off, let me say that the previous low ratings are way unfair to this great product. The dimensions are listed right on the page. Just because somebody wasn't smart enough or didn't care enough to look at the dimensions, they shouldn't give the product a low rating based on that. Is this a small box? Kind of. Is is listed as a small box? Yes. It is exactly what it says it's going to be and if anything, that should warrant a positive review. On to the box. I actually don't use it for tackle or tools. I use it to hold all of my guitar knickknacks like wrenches and picks. It is a small toolbox that fits the bill perfectly. It is sturdy and adaptable. On top is a large compartment that can hold larger items. Don't let the "Small" tag that people have labeled this thing with fool you, it can hold several screwdrivers, even small hammers. Underneath are four tray boxes with inserts so that you can rearrange and change the layout to fit your needs. You can make about 1x1 inch squares if all dividers are placed in it. It has two 1 inch rows that can each be divided into 6 compartments, for a total of 12 little compartments per box. Then it has three larger compartments. A great system for $20 and even better if you get it at WalMart for $15. This is a great storage system for small items like fishing hooks, screws, guitar picks, whatever. It even has larger space on top that can hold some tools. If you need a real tool box, buy a real tool box. Don't expect this tackle box to do anything other than being an excellent container for small objects; that's what it was designed for and what it delivers on. Made in the U.S.A. Buy it.

box is small but using it for a sewing box is awesome.. this was just the right size for thread thimbles needles thread bobbins the customizable trays are a nice feature..

This small storage box is really great for my purposes, which relates to small bolts, washers, nuts, sheet metal screws, lock nuts, & T nuts, all all these in 5 to 8 different lengths. Awesome for the hobby of Large Radio Control Aircraft storage of all stainless and very expensive fasteners. The sizes in my hobby run in the #2,& #4 most often bought in boxes of 100. Only negative concern on my end relates to the lack of suffient plasic insert dividers which required an email to Plato in order to fill all the places made for such. Specifications are located further downward from the sales area....check the specs before buying!

I've had this little tool and parts box for about three years, and though I don't use it hard, it's lasted much longer than I expected. The top bin is large enough to handle several small tools such as pliers, tape measure, calipers, and so forth, but what I like the most about it is that the parts "drawers" can be accessed without opening the top, and they won't spill out because of the door that holds them in..
